The Unspoken touches upon the notion of both internal and external dialogue.  Fragments from the mixed signals of conversation, the ambiguity of body language, uncertain emotions and the incomplete metaphors found deep within our subconscious form the basis of this work.  Trace words and vague impressions linger at the end of a conversation or echo in one’s mind long after the moment has transpired.

All of these mixed media paintings are intended to be multidirectional, with no “set” orientation.  They may be hung as individual pieces, grouped together, arranged sculpturally as blocks or clustered with the intent of creating new dialogues between the paintings.
