The series Color, Marks and Line represents an investigation of the interplay of color, the gesture of mark making, and the character of line. The work is primarily abstract, but loosely informed by many years of photographing the desert landscape and studying the nuances of light.
Individual paintings are multidirectional, with no “set” orientation. They may be hung as individual pieces, grouped together or clustered with the intent of creating new dialogues between the paintings. |
